Membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is open to women no less than 18 years old who can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.
Service may have been provided in the following ways:
Signers, Declaration of Independence
Military Service
Civil Service
Patriotic Service
These are ways patriots may have served, however, service is not limited to these areas. We have genealogists who will assist you with completing applications and will help you to prove lineal descent from your patriot ancestor.
